CORTE collects your identifying information (surname, first name, e-mail address, website, delivery address and country).

3. WHY DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA?
We collect your data mainly to work together as a membership based organisation, sharing working documents about our activities, working groups and research projects, informing our members about the latest road transport developments, with the objective to improve our services and, more generally to easily communicate with each other. Finally, your data also allows us to improve and facilitate your navigation on our website, by allowing members to access the restricted part of the website where CORTE working documents are available by use of personal login and passwords.

We take pride in respecting the privacy of our members. We maintain a strict privacy policy and take all appropriate measures to ensure that our servers prevent, to the extent possible, any unauthorized leak, destruction, loss, disclosure, use, access or modification of your data. Contacts and emails can be shared among members based on the fact that CORTE is a membership based associations made to have members interact and work together.

We keep your data for the time necessary to accomplish the objectives pursued. Once this goal is achieved, we either delete or anonymize them.

7. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW CAN THEY BE EXERCISED?

The CORTE Secretariat has access to it only to the extent necessary for processing your request and/or for fulfilling the objectives pursued. Each of them is subject to a strict obligation of confidentiality. Emails are sent to Members on a regular basis showing all emails of members. If you rather have your email address hidden when we send message to our members, you can contact us at secretariat@corte.be. We do not share your emails with non-CORTE members unless authorized and approved by the member. Contact details of CORTE Members, reflecting the membership form data sent by members, are available on the CORTE website. If you wish to modify this data or delete this data from our website, you can contact us and we will take the necessary action.
